Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Word Prowler ("the app"). By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be old enough to consent to these Terms in your country (and at least 13).
Acceptable use
Word Prowler is meant to be fun and fair. You agree not to:
- Choose a display name that is offensive, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that impersonates someone else.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other players.
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or interfere with the game or its servers.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours.
Objectionable content and conduct
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Display names are automatically filtered, and we may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice. If you encounter an offensive name or an abusive player, report it to support@mail.wordprowler.com; we review reports and act on offending accounts, typically within 24 hours.
Your content
You keep ownership of the display name and other content you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to operate the game — for example, to show your display name to the people you play against.
Availability
We work to keep Word Prowler running smoothly, but the app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer of Word Prowler resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
