Word Prowler

This policy explains what information Word Prowler ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Word Prowler is an independently developed game. Questions? Email support@mail.wordprowler.com.

Information we collect

Email address — used to sign you in with a one-time code. We don't use passwords.
Display name — the name you choose, shown to opponents you play against.
Gameplay data — your matches, moves, and reactions, so games can be saved and resumed.
Push notification token — if you enable notifications, a device token so we can alert you when it's your turn.
Diagnostic data — anonymous crash and error reports that help us fix problems.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifiers, and Word Prowler contains no third-party advertising.

How we use it

To sign you in and keep your account secure.
To run multiplayer games and show your name to the people you play with.
To send turn reminders and match notifications (only if you enable them).
To diagnose crashes and improve the app.

We never sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Service providers

We share the minimum data needed with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:

Railway — application hosting and database.
Mailgun — delivering your sign-in code emails.
Expo — delivering push notifications.
Sentry — crash and error diagnostics.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Sign-in codes are short-lived and expire within minutes. When you delete your account, your name and email are erased and your account is removed.

Your choices

Delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. This is permanent.
Turn off notifications in your device settings or in the app.
Access or correct your data — email us and we'll help.

Children

Word Prowler is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
